Some artists find their calling — Hilary Siekman built hers from the ground up. Based out of Logan, Iowa, Hilary is the owner and driving force behind Rebel Roots Tattoo, a studio that’s become a go-to destination for clients across west Iowa who want ink that actually means something.
Her work is as versatile as it is personal. From intricate sleeve work to deeply emotional first tattoos, she has a gift for turning life’s biggest moments — lost loved ones, unexpected family discoveries, new beginnings — into permanent art that tells your story. No two pieces are the same, because no two people are.
Before tattooing took over her life (in the best possible way), Hilary ran a photography business — a background that trained her eye for light, detail, and composition in ways that still show up in every piece she lays down.

Pricing depends on size, placement, detail, and time. Small flash pieces start lower; large custom work is priced by the hour or as a flat project rate. Come in for a free consult and we'll give you an honest quote — no surprises.
Absolutely. First-timers are some of our favorite clients. We slow down, explain everything, answer every question without judgment, and make sure you're comfortable before a single line is drawn. No pressure, ever.
Eat a full meal beforehand, stay hydrated, wear or bring clothing that gives access to the area being tattooed, and avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior. We'll cover everything else at your consultation.
Yes — cover-ups and reworks are one of our specialties. Every piece is different, so we evaluate in person before quoting. Bring a photo if you can't come in right away and we'll give you an initial read.
Yes! Couples, friends, families, crews — we love group sessions. Reach out in advance so we can coordinate chair time and make it a smooth experience for everyone.
